This is an example of persuasive writing that may help you if you are challenging yourself today with your writing.
When writing persuasively, we are trying to get the reader to believe what we believe. We are trying to convince them of something.
First, we tell the reader our opinion in one sentence. Then we give three reasons for our opinion. Finally, we tell the reader our opinion one more time, but in different words.

Additional Information for Week 9 and 10:
When writing a persuasive text, we need to use what we call 'high modality' words. High modality words are words such as certainly, absolutely, must, important (etc.). They help to make your writing more convincing. See the images below for some examples of high modality words you could use in your persuasive writing.
