Let’s Revise!
Chance (or probability) is the likelihood something will happen.
There a lots of words we can use. Some of these are certain, possible and impossible.
Activity:
Yesterday we looked at the terms (words) ‘certain’, ‘possible’ and ‘impossible’, however, sometimes you might also hear ‘will happen’, ‘might happen’ or ‘won’t happen’.
Today we will be sorting events into these categories and headings.
First, watch this Year 1 teacher demonstrating how to sort events in will happen, might happen and wont' happen.
Once you have watched this video, download the activity sheet below and draw three events in each column (make sure each event matches the heading it is drawn under).
