The girl in the story shared lots of emotions (feelings) with us. For example when Gorilla was looking at her in her bed, the girl looked scared. She looked scared because she was hiding underneath the covers.
What other emotions did the girl have? How do you think she was feeling? Why do you think that?
You are going to be an emotions detective. You will be searching the story and the illustrations for clues about how the girl is feeling.
Write about how the girl was feeling and the WHY you think that. Use the word because to help you.
For example:- The girl looked scared because she was hiding under the covers.
