Just to review, remember


Volume is the amount of liquid in a container


Capacity is how much the container can hold


Estimating is a rough guess





  1. Choose a container and a cup

  2. Estimate how many cups of water it will take to fill up the container

  3. Record your estimation

  4. Fill up the cup with water and start to pour the water into the container

  5. How many cups did it take to fill up the container

  6. Record your answer
