A list is a type of Informative text as the writing is factual. There are many different types of lists. For example, there are shopping lists, to-do lists, inventory lists, even our visual time table is a list. Sometimes a list tells you what you need to do or buy. Other times it may tell you what is inside something (for example, you may have a list telling you what is inside the pantry or cupboard).

Today you will be writing a list of what is in your toy box/dress up box or what is your bedroom. Before you do this though, be sure to watch Miss Rubino explain all about how to write a list.
